Over 50 Families Impacted: The Power of Partnership and Purpose in Cleveland
Cleveland, OH ā In a powerful example of collaboration, purpose, and community-driven action, over 50 families in Greater Cleveland were directly impacted by the generosity and commitment of the Greater Cleveland Delta Foundation and Zeta Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
This effort wasn’t just a one-time donation ā it was a heartfelt mission to uplift, empower, and provide for those who need it most. From food distributions and resources the impact was tangible, emotional, and deeply appreciated.
Purpose-Driven Leadership
At the center of this powerful initiative stood key community champions:
- Bruce CoffeyĀ ā whose tireless commitment to service helped coordinate outreach efforts and build trust with families across the region.
- Woody AllenĀ ā a consistent force in ensuring logistical support and hands-on delivery for families in need.
- Jonny Hayden, Line President of theĀ ā23 Sons of Resurrection and Rageā, brought energy, brotherhood, and a legacy of service through Omega Psi Phi that inspired younger generations to take action.
Their leadership helped ignite a movement of giving back ā with Zeta Omega Fraternity Brothers standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the dynamic women of the Delta Foundation, including President Kathi Howard-Primes, whose guidance continues to lead the foundation with compassion and strategy.
More Than Just Donations
Families who received assistance were not just handed goods ā they were offered hope. One mother said, āIāve never had anyone treat me with so much dignity. They didnāt just give me food ā they listened.ā Another elder shared, āSeeing Black men and women working together to serve the people gave me joy. It reminded me that we still have leaders who care.ā
From children receiving back-to-school supplies to elders being connected to local healthcare resources, this partnership created a ripple effect of community care.
